Jeff’s 3 Favorite Things – May 2018

&PIZZA

It’s hard to call this scrumptious treat fast food, it’s REALLY good food and the added bonus is that it’s fast too! I owe this love affair to my assistant Jen who brought me one for lunch one day, and I’ve been smitten ever since. My fave? The “Dirty Bird,” a masterful blend of pulled chicken boosted with garlic ricotta, jalapeños, buffalo sauce from 8 Myles LLC, ranch drizzle, banana pepper, romaine, blue cheese, and red pepper flakes. Nom nom nom. It’s THAT good! Check out &pizza here.
WOODMONT GRILL

I just love Woodmont Grill, one of my favorite spots for business lunches and birthday celebrations. Its perfect food is served brilliantly by their incredibly attentive staff. The restaurant is always busy, and well set up to offer a lively environment while simultaneously offering the privacy I desire to have open conversations with my guests. The grilled artichokes are sublime and their salads are as savory as their fish selections and fried chicken sandwiches. Dessert? Don’t get me started! You can visit Woodmont Grill online here or better yet, go in person!
FOOD LION FRIED CHICKEN

OK, my secret is out. Food Lion. Fried Chicken. There, I said it. It’s THAT good. Entertaining in the countryside can pose some challenges, especially at an event like Gold Cup where the food has to be there at 11am and be as good at 5pm as it is then. This chicken is truly perfection, some of the best I’ve ever had and it delivers every time. It’s usually the first thing we run out of on the buffet so I know I’m not alone in my love for this Southern comfort food. I’m getting hungry just looking at this picture, and may just have to stop for a bite on my way out tonight!.
