Humane Rescue Alliance
HUMANE RESCUE ALLIANCE

I’m honored to have served on the board of this amazing animal welfare organization. We have been fortunate enough to have adopted our last two cats through the Humane Rescue Alliance. Kazi, our latest, is pictured above. During my search for her, it became obvious just how many animals—cats, kittens, dogs, puppies, horses and other animals, are waiting for their forever home. So please, before you call a breeder (and I’ve done that too), look to see what other precious beings are hoping to be adopted. Like me, I think you’ll be happy you did. You will be doing the animal world a world of good.
My Fragrance Samples
MY FRAGRANCE SAMPLES

I go back and forth on wearing cologne. Every time I’m in close proximity to someone who has over-applied, I back off. I never want to be “that guy” who fumigates a room. Still, I eventually come back to wearing the right scent, albeit sparingly. Of course, I want something that suits me perfectly, in that moment. This is where MyFragranceSamples.com comes in. I love that I can get cologne in small volumes, and at a lower price, rather than committing to a whole bottle. I usually settle on one or two samples and double down with a full bottle.  I hope this helps you find just the right scent or scents for yourself, or to give as gifts.
Action Fabricators
ACTION FABRICATORS

Shout out to this wonderful company! As many of you know, we’ve recently redone our front garden in D.C., after much ado at every turn. The fence was not exempt from the turmoil—we waited over a year for the first company to fabricate what was to become a “railing” worthy of a university library, but not suitable for a home in a historic district. Fortunately, Jerry and Marty of Action Fabricators stepped in to save the day. They arrived quickly, created samples so we could check scale and proportion, advised me like the total pros they are, and delivered the perfect fence in under three weeks. I can’t say enough good things about them, so I’m trying to do that here. If you have a metal project, contact them!
