The highest condo sales price in April was Unit #61 at the majestic 2101 Connecticut Avenue in Kalorama. The impeccably renovated 4-bedroom, 3-bath apartment with 3,200 square feet of living space was listed at $3.2 million and sold the same day for a cool $3 million. The cooperative is one of DC’s true Grand Dames, with a stunning lobby straight out of the gilded age.

Coming in a very close second was Unit #PH2102, a life-of-luxury penthouse at Turnberry Tower by the Potomac River in Rosslyn. Listed for $3,100,000, the 3,045 square foot apartment with 3-bedrooms, 3.5 baths, private elevator and both marble and hardwood floors, ultimately closed at $2,950,000. Unit #8E at the very modern 22 West in DC’s West End listed for $2,565,000 and closed for $2,405,000. The 3-bedroom, 3-bath flat boasts hardwoods, open white-on-white kitchen, stunning bathrooms and a balcony.

Fourth place goes to Unit #508 at 1745 N in Dupont Circle with 2-bedrooms, 3.5-baths, exposed brick wall, pale hardwoods, fireplace and a very modern kitchen. After listing for $2,400,000 in March, the unit sold for full price in April. Next on the list is Unit #1203 at Somerset House in Friendship Heights. The spacious 2-bedroom, 2.5-bath penthouse with a hexagonal floorplan and 3,021 square feet of living space features a mammoth living room, formal dining room, study, cove ceilings and a wraparound balcony. The apartment listed for $2,195,000 and sold for $2,125,000.

The final entry is Unit #401 at the very hip Lofts at Adams Morgan. The 2-bedroom, 3-bath loft is the height of industrial chic with 3,300 square feet of space, exposed white pipes, ductwork and girders, hardwood floors, soaring ceilings, catwalk and a private roof deck. The unit listed for $1,899,999 and closed at $1,850,000.
