The historic Wardman Tower in Woodley Park had the highest-priced sale for the second month in a row in July. This time it was Unit #5F which closed for $3,430,000. The beautifully renovated 3-bedroom, 3.5 bath city home has handsome hardwoods, recessed ceilings and 3,292 square feet of living space. Coming in second at $1,825,000 was Unit #9A at one of our “It Buildings,” 22 West in the West End. This modern penthouse duplex has two bedrooms, two full baths, a gourmet kitchen, an expansive private roof deck and an office/den on the second floor. Also selling for $1,825,000 was Unit #1609 at the Somerset House in Friendship Heights with 3-bedrooms, 2.5 baths and a spacious 2,442 square feet. Next is #906 at City Center in the Mount Vernon Triangle with two-beds, 2.5 baths, 1,370 square feet and 5-star amenities. Heading across the river to Arlington’s Rosslyn neighborhood is the gleaming Turnberry Tower and #1102 which sold for $1,540,000. This spacious 2,227 square-foot residence has marble floors, an open kitchen with Sub Zero and Miele appliances, a long balcony and all the Turnberry amenities. Our final entry is Unit #403 at Logan Circle’s Cooper Lewis building. This very hip 1,250 square-foot pad boasts hardwoods, a European-style kitchen and a 400 square-foot terrace.
