VIO, a new luxury condominium at The Wharf, had the highest sales price in November. Unit #709 is a stunning 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath flat with 1,985 square feet of living space. Window walls wrap around the unit, providing direct views of the Washington Channel and the boat slips below. There’s a private terrace as well, plus direct elevator access, hardwood floors and a sleek Euro-style kitchen. The closing price was $2,575,000 ($25,000 over list).

Unit #1606 at Somerset House in Chevy Chase listed for $1,995,000 and closed at $1,950,000. With a spacious 2,770 square feet, this renovated luxury apartment has gorgeous hardwoods, marble baths and a large and lovely balcony.

The third-highest sale was #506 at The Darcy in the heart of Bethesda’s shopping, dining and entertainment corridor. With 2-beds, 2.5 baths, wide-plank floors and an elongated balcony, this lovely unit listed for $1,696,000 and sold for $1.6 million.

Next is #26 at Dumbarton Place in Dupont Circle—the first sale in that building since July 2017. The sunny 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment with views of Rock Creek Park listed and sold for $1,250,000. Fifth on the list is #PH107, a 2-bedroom, 2-bath penthouse at Westlight in Washington’s West End. The modern residence with its private rooftop deck closed for $1,240,000.

Our final highest sales price is $1,150,000 for a dramatic loft at the Wooster and Mercer in Arlington. Unit #W301 has towering two-story windows, a balcony, 2-beds, 2.5 baths, floating spiral stairs and an antique Asian barn door that slides across the floor-to-ceiling windows in the master bath, affording a modicum of privacy from the outside world.
