In the heart of Downtown DC is a rather remarkable mixed-use community featuring spectacular luxury condos for sale. The Residences at CityCenter are the residential component for CityCenterDC, a high-end development covering five city blocks in Washington’s Mount Vernon Triangle. There are 216 condo units housed in two towers, along with shops, restaurants, hotels, offices and apartments. There’s even a 1.4-acre park! CityCenter also takes safety and hygiene seriously, with numerous hand sanitizer stations throughout. The concierge will even buzz you in and assist with elevator service.

There were no new listings at CityCenterDC in April. Unit #811 came to market in March with an asking price of $1,399,000. The spacious apartment has 2-bedrooms, 2-baths and 1,376 square feet of living space. The bedrooms are positioned at opposite ends for maximum privacy. Pale ultra-wide plank Northern Oak floors and giant floor-to-ceiling window walls add to the allure. The most expensive available listing in the community is Unit #1107, priced at $1.5 million. The 2-bedroom, 2-bath corner penthouse boasts 1,452 square feet of living space with massive floor-to-ceiling windows spanning the length of a large open living area that also includes a Foster + Partners kitchen set into a single wall. A long private balcony has multiple access points, including both bedrooms. Northern Oak flooring runs throughout. Also notable are the sleek bathrooms, walk-in closets, washer and dryer, two parking spaces and a walk-in storage unit.

In the same price range is Unit #702 at $1,495,000. The front corner condo has 2-bedrooms, 2-baths and 1,340 square feet of living space. Bleached hardwood floors, wraparound windows and a sublime glossy white modern kitchen are among the attributes. There’s a private balcony overlooking the street, a large master suite, two en-suite baths and plenty of closet space, including custom built-in organizers.

Unit #514 listed in February and remains active at $835,000. The 1-bedroom, 1-bath flat has 799 square feet of living space, with an elongated open living and dining area and a sleek modern kitchen with Molteni cabinets recessed into a single wall. Tall windows allow natural light to bathe the pale Northern Oak wide plank floors in a soft glow. There’s also a private balcony, perfect for enjoying morning coffee.

Unit #507 offers 1-bedroom, 1-bath and 724 square feet of space for $724,900. Among the many features are brand-new European hardwood floors and a gourmet kitchen with wood-tone Molteni cabinets, stainless steel appliances and an upgraded white Caesarstone island and counter. Unit #612 is the most affordable current condo listing at CityCenterDC at $615,000. The 1-bedroom, 1-bath apartment has 685 square feet of space with a nice-sized bedroom and an Elfa storage system. The warm wood-toned modern kitchen complements the premium wood floors perfectly. Bonus points for a fun balcony, stacked washer/dryer and one garage parking space.

Unit #1007 was recently decreased, from $709,000 down to $689,000. The 1-bedroom, 1-bath flat has 734 square feet of space, an open floorplan, full-height windows, white oaks floors and a Foster + Partners designed kitchen with Bosch, Miele and Thermador appliances. One assigned garage parking space is included.

Unit #502 is now in active under contract status and awaiting a closing date. With an asking price of $1,550,000, the 2-bedroom, 2-bath corner flat has a 1,340 square foot layout, with a gourmet kitchen, pale wide-plank floors, an extended balcony and giant floor-to-ceiling window walls on two sides. The master bedroom is quite large, and includes an impressive walk-in closet with custom organizers as well as a sleek en-suite bath with double sink vanity. Included are two parking spaces and extra storage.

There were no closings in April. Meanwhile, Unit #505 has been temporarily taken off the market. With a $1,775,000 price tag, the 2-bedroom apartment has 2 full baths, 2 half-baths and 1,947 square feet of space. The unusually large layout is the result of combining two 1-bedroom units into one luxurious residence. Features include a work space with wet bar, a glossy white-on-white modern open kitchen, walk-in closets, stylish baths, two secure parking spaces and two storage units.

Those living at the Residences at CityCenter enjoy a wealth of amenities, with 24/7 front desks, concierge and porter service, landscaped terraces, a water feature, a bar lounge, fitness center, outdoor kitchens and an executive business center. The surrounding CityCenterDC community is equally impressive with over 30 upscale retailers and restaurants.
