Located in two 12-story towers, the Residences at CityCenter are the luxury condominium component for Washington, DC’s recently completed CityCenterDC. The 10-acre “live, work and play” community is situated in the heart of the trendy Mount Vernon Triangle, and also includes apartments, hotels, offices, upscale retail boutiques and restaurants. Residents also enjoy landscaped walk paths and a 1.5-acre park. Although no new listings came to market in December, there are still a number of available condos for sale.

The highest priced active listing at CityCenter is Unit #1107. With 2-bedrooms and 2-baths, the 1,452 square foot corner penthouse comes with a $1.5 million price tag. Massive window walls allow in floods of natural light, while the Foster + Partners kitchen with Bosch and Miele appliances is set into a single wall, allowing maximum space in the open living area. An extended balcony is the perfect place to enjoy the view from the top floor. Large bedrooms, tons of closet space, two parking spaces and a walk-in storage unit help round out the picture.

Unit #411 is available for $1,499,000. The 2-bedroom, 2.5-bath corner apartment boasts 1,367 square feet of living space, with floor-to-ceiling windows, automatic shade lifts, breathtaking city views, a stylish kitchen along one wall and elegant modern baths. The sunny open residence also comes with two side-by-side parking spaces.

Unit #908 came to market in November and is currently priced at $1,425,000. The 2-bedroom, 2.5-bath flat has 1,423 square feet of living space and floor-to-ceiling windows on two sides, along with sliders to the balcony, wide-plank floors and a contemporary kitchen with Molteni cabinets, recessed appliances and breakfast bar. A master bedroom suite is complemented by a second bedroom suite boasting a bonus office nook. Sleek bathrooms and two-car secure parking round out the picture.

Listed at $1,250,000, Unit #602 is a roomy corner residence with 2-bedrooms, 2-baths and 1,191 square feet of living space. The welcoming floorplan includes lots of open space, huge windows, a signature Foster + Partners kitchen recessed into one wall, an extremely long balcony, wide-plank floors, bedrooms with sliding doors and stylish modern bathrooms. Included are two parking spaces and storage.

Unit #609 has gone through multiple price drops in hopes of finding its next owner. Currently available for $1,099,000, the sunny 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment overlooks the central courtyard and landscaped terraces. The 1,210 square foot floorplan features bedrooms at opposite ends for added privacy. Additionally, there are no shared walls with adjacent units. Add pale blonde floors, white Caesarstone floating vanities in the bathrooms and private parking, among other amenities.

Unit #807 in the I tower listed in November for $749,000 and is still available. The 1-bedroom, 1-bath apartment has a very roomy and open 820 square foot plan with wide-plank oak floors and a glossy white-on-white themed modern kitchen, as well as a matching glossy white desk nook. A wall of floor-to-ceiling windows offers terrific city views. The contemporary bath has a separate powder room component for added privacy.

Also active since November is Unit #604 with 1-bedroom, 1.5-baths, 830 square feet of living space and a $739,900 price tag. The open-space layout features a Foster + Partners designed kitchen recessed into a single wall of Molteni wood-toned cabinets. The kitchen segues neatly into a white-on-white desk nook along the same wall. From the pale Northern Oak flooring to a large bedroom, this unit is both stylish and competitively priced for its size.

Unit #621 listed
on December 5 but has since been taken temporarily off the market. The
1-bedroom, 1-bath residence has 685 square feet of room and was priced at $615,000.
The cute open space flat has wide-plank oak floors and a tidy space saving
contemporary kitchen with Molteni wood grain cabinets and recessed upscale
appliances. Take breakfast out onto the balcony to start your day! There’s
plenty of closet space, an Elfa storage system in the bedroom, washer and dryer
and reserved parking.

Unit #403 expired
at the end of the year and its status has not yet been determined. Listed at
$810,000, the 1-bedroom, 1-bath apartment has a glossy white on white kitchen
and office cubby that sets it apart from other wood-toned CityCenter cooking
spaces. The extended 96 square foot balcony is also a bonus. From custom wall
paints to the modern bathroom, this is a very chic unit. Washer and dryer are
included.

There was one closing during the month of December. Unit #404 is a 1-bedroom, 1-bath residence with 830 square feet of space. The condo went under contract after just 21 days on market with an asking price of $725,000. The closing figure was $680,000 for the modern flat with its white-on-white Euro-style recessed kitchen.

Those living at
the Residences at CityCenter enjoy lots of amenities, such as 24/7 front desk
and concierge, a remodeled state-of-the-art fitness center and spa, bar lounge,
roof gardens with cooking stations and water feature, and an executive center.
CityCenter offers over 30 bars and restaurants, plus lots of upscale shopping
boutiques. Immediately outside the mixed use community are Downtown landmarks,
historic theaters, national museums and other attractions. Metro stations are
just a block away.
