There’s something for everyone at City Center DC. The five-block mixed-use development in the Mount Vernon Triangle neighborhood is both an upscale outdoor shopping mall and a residential community. There’s a hotel, offices, a 1.5-acre park and over 40 fashionable retailers and restaurants. Also featured are two 12-story luxury condominium towers with full-service amenities and a total of 216 units with numerous different floorplans and sizes. The condos were delivered in 2013 with interiors from Foster and Partners, and the project has received lots of national press including in the New York Times where it was likened to a modern day Rockefeller Center in the heart of Downtown DC.

New to the market in December is Unit #602 with an asking price of $1,300,000. The two-bedroom apartment with two baths and a stylish 1,191 square foot floorplan is filled with natural light, with giant windows in the family room and primary bedroom suite, along with remote controlled blinds throughout. Also notable is the full length Trex deck, perfect for coffee, evening libations, or simply relaxing.

Unit #710 also popped up in December, priced at $1,100,000. The 1,124 square foot condo with two bedrooms and two baths has a beautiful wall accent, select Northern European extra-wide white oak floors, custom Molteni wardrobes, a built-in desk nook, and a terrific extended private balcony. There is $20,000 of recent upgrades, a stunning open kitchen, reserved parking, and extra storage.

The highest priced active listing at City Center is Unit #901/902. This unique 2,816 square foot residence came to market in November with an asking price of $3,995,000. With four bedrooms and 3.5 baths, the extensively transformed condo is the result of combining two units into one expansive showcase with two private outdoor spaces including a large two-level turf terrace. Also worth noting is the walk-in temperature controlled wine cellar capable of holding 2,300 bottles.

Unit #1002 is still available with a list price of $1,435,000. The sunny two-bedroom corner condo has 1,340 square feet of interior space that begins with a welcoming front foyer that opens into a huge main living, dining and cooking space. Full-height windows wrap around two sides, allowing floods of natural light inside. Also notable are the white oak floors and an expansive balcony.

Unit #502 in the I Street tower came to market in November and is still up for grabs at $1,385,000. The 1,340 square foot residence offers a modern and open floorplan, with two bedrooms, two baths, and corner exposures featuring massive windows wrapping around two sides. The Euro-style kitchen hugs a single wall with panelized appliances, thus maximizing the spatial and open feeling of the living and dining area.

Unit #909 remains active with a list price of $1,445,000. This stunning corner unit with two bedrooms and 2.5 baths has an intriguing layout that starts with a welcoming front gallery before segueing into a wide and open main living area with massive windows along two sides. White oak flooring, motorized window shades, and an impressive gourmet kitchen that faces out toward to the window wall are all part of the interior design.

The competitively priced Unit #514 in the H Street tower is still available for $650,000 after listing in November. With one bedroom and one bath, the 799 square foot flat has an elongated layout that adds to the feeling of spaciousness. White oak floors, a glossy white panelized kitchen that hugs one wall, and a private balcony overlooking the courtyard add to the appeal.

Unit #907 is now in A/C status, meaning that it is pending with contingencies but can still be shown for backup offers. The one-bedroom apartment with its cute 644 square foot layout went through multiple price reductions, from $699,000 all the way down to $599,000 before ultimately receiving an accepted offer.

Unit #902 is pending and due to close at the end of January. The two-bedroom condo with two baths and 1,346 square feet of living space had been listed at $1,400,000. The apartment has a modern feel with wraparound windows, open livings areas, a terrific gourmet kitchen fitting flush against one wall, and an extended balcony.

There was one closing in December. Unit #514 sold for $950,000 after listing for $1,045,000. The 1,200 square foot condo has two bedrooms, two baths, and blonde wide plank floors throughout. The airy and light-filled main living and dining area features a stylish and modern kitchen that fits unobtrusively into one corner, without an island or prep bar, leaving the rest of the area completely free and open.

Unit #810 expired at the end of the year and may become active again. The two-bedroom, 2.5-bath residence with 1,378 square feet of living space had been listed at $2,295,000. Among the many features is one of the largest private outdoor spaces in the condo community, spanning 1,100 square feet with terraced landscaping and rustic wood flooring.

Condo residents at City Center DC enjoy a luxurious lifestyle experience with helpful door attendants, concierge service, multiple interior courtyards and roof gardens, and a standout fitness center with a yoga studio. There is also a lounge with wet bar, wine storage, community rooms, business/work centers, and secure parking.
