The massive CityCenterDC complex stretches more than five downtown city blocks in Washington, DC’s Mount Vernon neighborhood. The condominium component, known as The Residences at CityCenter, occupies two luxury towers. There are also high-end shops, restaurants, hotels, offices, apartments and a 1.4-acre park in the self-sustaining bubble community. Concierge service will buzz you into the condo buildings, and will also assist with elevator service.

New to the market in July is a truly spectacular residence. Unit #715 is advertised as the first CityCenterDC terrace offering in three years. Listed at $3,050,000, the two-bedroom, two-bath flat comes with 1,584 square feet of living space, including extensive upgrades and a stunning 576 square foot multilevel wooden terrace with tree plantings. There’s also a separate balcony that is accessible from the two bedroom suites. Comes with two side-by-side garage parking spaces and a large, elevated storage unit.

Unit #604 is also new in July and already has a price cut, from $769,000 down to $750,000. With one bedroom, 1.5 baths and an oversized 878 square feet floorplan, this apartment features an intriguing latticework of ceiling beams rarely seen at City Center. There have been over $25,000 of improvements in the flat, with an elongated electric fireplace and a fantastic open kitchen with new quartz counters, a custom island and a voice-activated Delta faucet.

Relisted in July is Unit #707 with one bedroom, one bath and 772 square feet of space. At $649,900, this competitively priced apartment offers courtyard views, hardwood floors and parking. Floor-to-ceiling windows let in plenty of natural light, while abundant closet space and a stacked washer/dryer add to the value.

Listed in June, Unit #601 has already been reduced in price from $899,000 down to $879,000. The one-bedroom, one-bath modern apartment has a 922 square foot layout with a welcoming hallway, built-ins, a Foster + Partners open kitchen, white northern oak floors, tons of windows, a lovely bedroom, a modern bath, laundry room and private parking.

Unit #301 also came to market in June. With one bedroom, one bath and 922 square feet of space, this one-of-a-kind apartment has been customized by award winning architect Ernesto Santalla. Listed at $899,000, the attractive flat with its custom ceiling treatments and dark wood floors, has a glossy white kitchen, a deep island, giant windows on three sides and a bedroom suite with modern wall treatments, built-in bed, custom closets and luxury bath. Comes with parking and a laundry room.

Unit #1003 listed in June for $799,000 and has since had two price cuts. The one-bedroom, one-bath condo with 858 square foot of living space, is currently available for $750,000. Pale hardwood flooring runs throughout, while a Foster + Partners designed kitchen with Molteni cabinets and a stone island offers maximum space-saving. A glossy white office nook is the perfect place to work from home, while a balcony is a great place to relax. Comes with secure parking and storage.

Unit #1107 originally listed for $1.5 million but has since been reduced by $100K to $1.4 million. The two-bedroom, two-bath corner penthouse with 1,452 square feet of living space features massive floor-to-ceiling windows, a huge open living and dining space, and a sitting nook. A long private balcony has multiple access points, including both bedrooms. Northern oak flooring runs throughout. Also notable are the sleek bathrooms, walk-in closets, washer and dryer, two parking spaces and storage.

Yet another $100K cut belongs to Unit #811, down to $1,299,900 from its original $1,399,900. The 1,367 square foot corner flat with two bedrooms and two baths offers maximum privacy by positioning the sleeping quarters at opposite ends. Extended window walls along with ultra-wide plank floors add to the allure. A beautiful glossy white-on-white modern kitchen is set into a single wall while two elongated balconies each have bedroom entrances. Two secure parking spaces and storage convey.

Unit #803 came to market in July with a price tag of $785,000 but has since been withdrawn. The one-bedroom, one-bath residence has 787 square feet of living space, ultra-wide plank floors and a gourmet kitchen set into Molteni cabinets. A glossy white desk cubby with storage, a private balcony and an in-unit washer and dryer help complete the picture. Comes with one parking space.

Unit #603 is now under contract, with an anticipated closing in August. Priced at $739,900, the one-bedroom apartment has 1.5-baths and a spacious 878 square foot layout. Pale blonde wide-plank floors, plenty of natural light and a side-by-side kitchen and desk cubby recessed into a single way, add to the open feel.

There was one closing in July. Unit #908 was listed at $1,250,000 and sold just a tick lower at $1,225,000. The 1,400 square foot corner apartment has two bedrooms, 2.5 baths and a luxurious master suite with a bonus room for sitting or office, plus an en-suite bath with dual sinks. The second bedroom also has a full en-suite bath. An extended balcony, deluxe kitchen, powder room and walk-in closets are among the many other features.

Those fortunate enough to live at The Residences at CityCenter enjoy front desk, concierge and porter service, as well as a bar lounge, fitness center, landscaped terraces and water features, and an executive business center.
