Located in downtown Washington’s vibrant Mount Vernon Triangle is an extraordinary mixed-use community. CityCenterDC spans more than five city blocks and is one of the nation’s largest and most luxurious places to live, work and play. Located at the site of the former Washington Convention Center, the development includes two modern condominium towers, two apartment rental buildings, an office tower, a hotel, a 1.5-acre park and over 40 upscale retailers and restaurants.

Newly listed in July is Unit #407, a one-bedroom, one-bath flat with an open 820 square foot floorplan. Priced at $798,000, the apartment has gorgeous wide-plank floors, a Foster + Partners kitchen with Caesarstone counters and breakfast island, and panelized Bosch, Thermador and Miele appliances. Among the many extras are a built-in desk with network connections, a washer and dryer, and parking.

The most expensive, and largest current listing is Unit #715 with a $2,749,999 price tag. The two-bedroom, two-bath residence boasts 1,584 square feet of living space, including a sleek modern kitchen and uninterrupted window walls. A lush 576 square foot private multilevel walk-out terrace provides the perfect outdoor oasis. There’s also an extended balcony that is accessible from each bedroom!

Unit #809 remains available for $1,399,900. With an impressive 1,514 square foot floorplan, the two-bedroom, 2.5-bath apartment is situated on a quiet interior corner, overlooking lush gardens and terraces. Giant wraparound windows allow abundant light to illuminate the wide-plank flooring, and an open gourmet kitchen. One of the two bedroom suites also offers a private office area.

Unit #516 is still active at $1,050,000. The 1,125 square foot corner residence has two bedrooms and 2.5 baths, with a wall of windows offering views of the garden terraces and a water feature below. White oak wide-plank floors run throughout. A signature CityCenter gourmet kitchen with appliances recessed into Molteni cabinetry helps to round out the package.

Offered at $1,198,000, Unit #710 has two bedrooms and 2.5 baths, with 1,124 square feet of interior space. There’s also an extended private balcony running the length of the apartment. Huge windows, wide-plank flooring, an open gourmet kitchen plus generously sized bedrooms with walk-in closets are a few of the other features. Includes parking, storage, and a washer and dryer.

Priced at $999,999 is Unit #404 with an unusually spacious layout for a one-bedroom apartment. The 1,003 square foot flat has 1.5 baths, a large foyer, an open living area and a modern kitchen that recesses into the wall, eschewing the typical breakfast bar. Add giant floor-to-ceiling windows, a large bedroom with a window sitting bay, and a huge walk-in closet, and you have a memorable residence.

Unit #305 is now Active under Contract, meaning it is pending with contingencies but can still be shown. Listed at $1,325,000, the corner apartment has two bedrooms, 2.5 baths, 1,375 square feet of space and a wonderful layout. Giant windows allow plenty of natural light into the residence, with a Foster + Partners kitchen set unobtrusively into just one wall.

Unit #810 is pending with an anticipated August close. Listed at $1,165,000, the glorious corner penthouse has two bedrooms, 2.5 baths, 1,389 square feet of living space, massive windows, and the added bonus of an incredible 1,009 square foot private rooftop terrace. A stylish open kitchen with Caesarstone counters is the perfect place to create meals.

After listing in June, Unit #712 is now pending. Listed at $599,900, the one-bedroom, one-bath residence maximizes its 685 square foot layout, with an open living area, white oak flooring and a gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances recessed into glossy white Italian cabinetry. There’s also a balcony, a stacked washer/dryer, plenty of closet space and assigned parking.

Unit #608 is also now under contract. The two-bedroom, two-bath apartment has a modern and luxurious feel, with a southern exposure balcony running the width of the unit. Listed at $825,000, the apartment looks to be set for a closing on August 25. An Italian-style gourmet kitchen, wide-plank floors, oversized windows and walk-in closets contribute to the appeal.

There were no closings in July. Unit #416 has been withdrawn. Most recently priced at $1,199,900, the 1,142 square foot residence boasts floor-to-ceiling windows, with custom wallpaper and treatments adding to the stylish vibe. We will keep tabs to see if this one comes back to market.

Also withdrawn is Unit #504, which had been listed at $969,000. This is the largest of the one-bedroom floorplans at CityCenter with 1,003 square feet of living space and 1.5 baths. The layout is refreshingly well designed, with a wonderful open white kitchen, wide hallways and a sitting bay in the bedroom.

There is no shortage to the amenities at CityCenterDC. Condo residents enjoy a 24/7 front desk, concierge and porter service, party rooms, a fitness center and yoga studio, an executive business center, a bar lounge and a spectacular rooftop deck with a serene water feature. With its many shops and restaurants, you’ll never have to leave this self-sustaining bubble. But once you do, you’ll be in the heart of the nation’s capital, with a vast array of restaurants, shops, entertainment and museums.
