Described by the New York Times as a modern day Rockefeller Center in downtown Washington, the vibrant bubble community is not only a visitor destination but a terrific place to live as well.
Listed in November as Coming Soon, Unit #701 may be active by the time this report publishes. The two-bedroom, two-bath condo with 1,452 square feet of living space is priced at $1,500,000 and features corner exposures with floor-to-ceiling windows, and an expansive primary suite. The condo also comes with two side-by-side garage parking spaces and dedicated storage space.
Newly relisted in November, Unit #901/902 now has a lower asking price of $3,745,000. The 2,816 square foot showcase residence is the result of merging two condos into one. The result is four bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and 2,816 square feet of modern living space. Unit #502 is now in Active Under Contract status, another term for pending with contingencies. The 1,340 square foot corner condo with two bedrooms and two baths had been listed at $1,299,000. Walls of windows offer cityscape views, and the Euro-style kitchen hugs a single wall with panelized appliances, thus maximizing the open feeling of the living and dining area. An outdoor balcony is perfect for morning coffee.
Also going into A/C status in November is Unit #301 with a list price of $799,000. The one-bedroom condo with 981 square feet of living space was remodeled by award-winning architect Ernesto Santalla with dark wood floors, custom ceilings, terrific views of City Center’s plazas, and a minimalist Foster + Partners glossy white kitchen that is set into a single wall. One garage parking space is included.
There was one sale in November with Unit #701 closing at $725,000. The one-bedroom, one-bath apartment with a stylish 981 square foot floorplan features sunny corner exposures, pale blonde hardwood floors, and a modern kitchen set along a partial wall with hallways to each side. One parking space is included.
Unit #704 has been withdrawn. The 830 square foot residence with one bedroom and 1.5 baths had been listed at $734,000. Features include custom wood panel accents along one wall and on the ceiling above the glossy white Foster + Partners kitchen. We will keep tabs on this one to see if there is a further status update.
Condo residents at City Center DC enjoy a wide array of full service amenities, including concierges, porters, and door attendants.
