Influenced by principles of New Urbanism, the massive 10-acre City Center complex in the Mount Vernon Triangle offers two luxury condo towers, apartments, office buildings, hotels and an incredible array of upscale shops, restaurants and entertainment.
The newest listing in October is Unit #1006, priced at $679,900. The 1-bed, 1-bath flat with 772 square feet of living space has pale wide-plank hardwoods, a sleek kitchen with Caesarstone counters and floor-to-ceiling sliders leading to the balcony.
There are a number of significant price cuts, starting with the most expensive active listing, Unit #810. The 1,389 square foot corner penthouse has 2-beds, 2.5 baths and a 1,009 square foot landscaped roof terrace. Reduced in October from $2,750,000 to $2,650,000, this stunning condo is the ultimate place to entertain.
Another huge drop is Unit #908, a rarely available 2-bed, 2.5 bath corner unit with an extended balcony. Originally priced at $1.6 million, this stunning 1,423 square-foot residence is currently priced at $1,495,000—a deduction of $105,000!
Next is #712, with two private en-suites, 2.5 baths, a den and a large balcony. The 1,592 square-foot apartment has been reduced from $1,495,000 to $1,435,000. Also, Unit #410 is offered at $1,579,000, down from its original $1,599,000. The 1,452 square-foot corner condo has not one but two balconies.
Special kudos goes to a super-sized flat that went on the market in September. Unit #505 is the result of combining two apartments into one for a gorgeous 2-bed, 2-full and 2-half bath residence with 1,947 square feet of living space. For $1,995,000 you also get two parking spaces and two storage units!
Other active listings of note include #613, an oversized 1-bed, 1-bath flat with European White Oak wide-plank floors, a sleek kitchen with Italian cabinets and an extra family room. With 949 square feet of living space, this City Center residence is listed at $824,900.
There were no new sales in October, nor were there any withdrawn listings.
Those fortunate enough to reside at City Center enjoy amenities galore, including a state-of-the-art fitness center, yoga studio, 24/7 front desk and concierge, secure parking and rooftop gardens. The community also has its very own 1.5-acre park. Among the many on-site dining experiences are Centrolina, Momofuku, Dolcezza, Milk Bar and Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House.
