The highest priced new listing in the Washington Metro area during the month of December was Unit #TS01, a “Tower Suite” at Turnberry Tower in Arlington’s Rosslyn waterfront neighborhood. Designed by renowned architect Salo Levinas, this top floor penthouse features 180 degrees of elongated balconies with stunning views of the Potomac River, Georgetown, Downtown DC and Arlington. With 3-en suite bedrooms, 4.5 baths, an office and a den, this elite city home in the sky is offered at $5,200,000.
In second place is a lofty penthouse that has already closed. Unit #PH1A at the full-service Ritz-Carlton Georgetown was not only the second-highest priced listing at $3,495,000, it also had the second-highest sales price at $3,455,000 and the second-highest price per square foot at $1,132.79!
The next three entries are all at the recently delivered Westlight in the West End. The modernist structure with jutting angles features true floor-to-ceiling windows, pale hardwood floors and white-on-white recessed Italian kitchens.
