The two-bedroom, two-bath residence with its huge private deck, is part of a former autobody and paint shop.
Unit #404 at the Somerset House inside the Parc Somerset gated community in Chevy Chase is another double honoree. The 2,498 square foot apartment with three bedrooms and three baths tied for second place in the top sales price category at $2,100,000, while also taking the third highest price per sq. foot at $840.67. The 17-acre complex features three residential towers, each with underground access to a clubhouse and sports complex with an indoor heated swimming pool as well as an outdoor pool. Fourth place goes to Unit #718 at Shoreham West in Woodley Park. The two-bedroom, two-bath mid-century modern cooperative apartment with 2,550 square feet of living space plus a balcony, sold for $2,100,000 which comes out to $823.53 per square foot. The airy residence also tied for the second-highest sales price in January.
Unit #324 at The Signet in affluent McLean sold for $1,150,000, equaling $804.76 per sq. foot. The two-bedroom, two-bath stunner with a bonus den and marble foyer offers 1,429 square feet of living space. Sixth place goes to Unit #406 at The Odyssey in Rosslyn. The two-bedroom, two-bath flat with a 997 square foot layout sold for $795,000 or $797.39 per sq. foot. A large private balcony adds to the allure.
