The highest price per square foot honors in May goes to Unit #206 at 2501 M in Washington’s West End neighborhood. This elegant new condo with 2-bedrooms, 2-baths, 1,170 square feet of space sold for $1,221,700 or $1,044.19 per square foot. It’s loaded with sweet features, including panelized Bosch and Thermador appliances and Italian wood floors. Coming in second was Unit #PH3A at the Ritz-Carlton West End. The stunning penthouse also happened to be the highest condo sales price in May at $3.5 million. The posh duplex has 3-bedrooms, 4-baths, a giant private roof deck and 3,378 square feet of living space, and sold for $1,036.12 per square foot.

Our third place finisher was Unit #26 at Dumbarton Place in Dupont Circle. The 2-bedroom, 2.5-bath flat with 1,403 square feet of living space has a modern kitchen, built-ins and a balcony, and closed a $1,440,000 or $1,026.37. Next on the list is Unit #PH2109 at Turnberry Tower in Rosslyn. This spacious penthouse with 3-bedrooms, 2.5-baths, a private elevator and 2,655 square feet of living space sold for $2.6 million or $979.28 per square foot.

Next is Unit #4F at the super modern 22 West in the West End. The stylish 2-bedroom, 2-bath flat with walls of windows and 1,247 square feet of space sold for $1,215,000 or $974.34 per square foot. Finally, Unit #406 at 1745 N in Dupont Circle sold for $648,400 or $939.71 per square foot. The 1-bedroom unit is in a new boutique development combining historic row houses with new modern flats.
