Topping the list of over-asking sales prices in October is Unit #705 at Lionsgate in Bethesda. Unit #311 at the Kalorama Lofts in the Kalorama neighborhood captures third place honors, having listed for $949,900 before selling for $975,000, representing 102.64 percent of the original price. Fourth place goes to Unit #1507 at Somerset House in the exclusive Parc Somerset gated community in Chevy Chase. In fifth place is Unit #615 at City Vista in the Mount Vernon Triangle. The two-bedroom, 2.5-bath apartment has a large den that’s perfect for working from home, as well as a modern open gourmet kitchen, a private balcony and 1,433 square feet of living space, It closed at $965,000 after listing for $949,000, equaling 101.69 percent. Our final honoree in October’s price to sales ratio is Unit #401 at Union Row in the U Street Corridor. This two-bedroom, two-bath modern flat with soaring ceilings and exposed overhead ductwork, also comes with a chic open den/office and a delightful private terrace. Other features include beautiful hardwood floors and a Euro-style gourmet kitchen that recesses into a single wall. The apartment was offered at $785,000 and sold for $790,000, or 100.64 percent of the original price.
