Washington Metro’s highest priced condo sales price in February was Unit #PH217 at Washington Harbour in Georgetown. The 3,700 square foot penthouse with 3-bedrooms and 3.5-baths listed for $3,980,000 and sold for $3,500,000. Among the many features is a 5,000 square foot private terrace with fountain, heated swimming pool and amazing point blank views of the Potomac River. In second place was Unit #PH212, also a penthouse at Washington Harbour. The opulent 2-bedroom, 2.5-bath residence with a giant dressing room, office and a huge terrace with river views, listed and closed for $2,975,000. These two sales marked the first at Washington Harbour since September, 2018.
Coming in third was Unit #75 at the Westlight in the West End neighborhood. The modern 2-bedroom, 2-bath flat with 1,723 square feet of living space closed at full price, for $2,015,000. The stunning building with its cantilevered glass façade was designed by Enrique Norten and delivered in 2018. Fourth place goes to Unit #7F at 22 West in the West End community. The 2-bedroom, 2-bath contemporary open apartment has gleaming hardwoods throughout, an office, giant window walls and a balcony. It listed for $1,950,000 and sold for $1,850,000.
In fifth place is Unit #1511 at Turnberry Tower in Rosslyn. The 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath waterfront condo listed for $1,875,000 and went under contract two days later. The final closing price was $1,785,000. Among the many features is a private elevator, an open kitchen with Snaidero cabinetry and stainless steel appliances, and a large private balcony with views of the Potomac. Sixth place goes to Unit #1003 at the fabulously modern VIO which sits atop the new District Wharf in the Southwest Waterfront. With 2-bedrooms, 2-baths and 1,370 square feet of space, this showcase apartment offers point-blank views of the Washington Channel and boat slips below, from giant window walls and a private balcony. The sales price was $1,740,000, making it the highest price per square foot sale in March at $1,270.07 per square ft. Seventh place in the highest priced sweepstakes goes to Unit #PH2 at Chase Point in Chevy Chase. The 2-bedroom, 2.5-bath two-level penthouse has striking hardwood floors, a beautiful open kitchen, large laundry room, marble baths and floating curved stairs leading to the second story, as well as a private roof deck with outdoor kitchen. The sales price was $1,725,000.
