There were no fewer than 10 buildings with two sales each! One of the two sales at 1055 High in Georgetown figures prominently in October’s highlights, having captured the second-highest sales price, and the top price per square foot. Unit #3W with three bedrooms, 3.5 baths and 3,538 sq. ft. of living space sold for $4.4 million, translating to $1,243.64 per square foot. Unit #302 at Butterfield House on Capitol Hill is one of two sales at the desirable address, listing for $450,000 and closing at $463,250, making it the second-highest in the list-to-sales ratio at 102.94 percent. Unit #8B at 22 West in the West End neighborhood is one of two sales in the building, as well as the sixth-highest in the price per sq. ft. category at $975.31. The roomy one-bedroom with two baths and a bonus den measures out at 1,215 square feet and sold for $1,185,000.
The other buildings with two closings each in October include 1661 Crescent Place in Adams Morgan, Adams Alley which is also in Adams Morgan, 1745N in Dupont Circle, Metropole in Logan Circle, St. Nicholas in Kalorama, and the iconic Watergate in Foggy Bottom.
