Market Leaders | Most Units Unit | November 2018

The Clara Barton at Penn Quarter had the most closings in November with four units sold. This “It Building” is the sister companion to The Lafayette and offers hotel-style living with a lavish array of amenities. This is a truly prime location with top restaurants, theaters and museums right outside the door.

While there were no buildings with three sales, there were five that had two! Those were Lionsgate in Bethesda, Ritz-Carlton West End, The Columbia in the West End, The Darcy in Bethesda and the unique Yale Steam Laundry in Mount Vernon Triangle.

Buildings with one sale each include 2020 Lofts in the U Street Corridor, Atrium in Rosslyn, Gallery Place in Chinatown, City Vista in Mount Vernon Triangle, Chinese Embassy in Dupont Circle and Dumbarton Place in Dupont Circle.

It is worth noting that Unit #5 at the Chinese Embassy was the first sale at that building since May of 2017. The 2-bed, 2-bath residence listed for $889,900 and closed for $910,000. Similarly, Unit #26 at Dumbarton Place was the first closing at that address since July of 2017. The 3-bed, 2-bath condo listed and sold for $910,000
