Representing the upper reaches of luxury lifestyles and hotel-style amenities, the Ritz-Carlton West End is part of a global hospitality brand. Located in the popular West End neighborhood and right next-door to Georgetown, the mixed-use complex includes two residential condominium towers, a hotel, and street level retail. Residents are able to enjoy fine dining from the hotel restaurant, including room service and catering in their own condos.

There were multiple new listings in April, adding to a well-stocked inventory of available condominium residences. Topping the list of new entries is Unit #7E with an asking price of $3,595,000. The elegant 3,096 square foot apartment features three bedrooms, 3.5 baths, a formal dining room, a double parlor living room with a wall of windows and a fireplace, a family room, an extra-large kitchen, and a private terrace.

Unit #PH3C came to market in April with a list price of $1,795,000. The two-bedroom penthouse with 2.5 baths and nearly 2,000 square feet of interior space across two levels, boasts dark hardwood floors, a living room with full-height built-ins and pale brick accents surrounding a fireplace, a dining room, gourmet kitchen, two separate private terraces, and sweeping views of the courtyard.

Also new in April is Unit #6B with one bedroom, two full baths, and a spacious 962 square foot layout. Offered at $875,000, the condo has Brazilian cherry herringbone floors in the living spaces, an open concept living and dining area, a white-on-white gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances, an in-unit washer and dryer, and lots of closet space.

Still available after listing in March is Unit #5E with a price tag of $4,950,000. The 3,096 square foot residence received a gut renovation in 2018, resulting in a stunning showcase transformation with wooden wall treatments, and an incredible open chef-style kitchen with extended dining bar that resembles an upscale restaurant or diner. Other features include three bedrooms, three baths, extra wide plank floors, and a 550 square foot private terrace.

Unit #PH3M is a unique three-level penthouse that feels like a house in the sky. Listed at $2,595,000, the 2,066 square foot triplex has two bedrooms, 2.5 baths, herringbone wood floors, a fireplace, in-unit laundry, and a fabulous kitchen. Unit #8E was reduced in price in April, from $3,148,000 all the way down to $2,799,000. A family room adds flexibility as a potential work-from-home office, and a large gourmet kitchen has all the bells and whistles, including stainless steel appliances, and a butler’s pantry with sink, prep counter, and wine fridge.

Unit #8H remains in Active Under Contract status, having received an accepted offer with contingencies in March. The two-bedroom, two-bath apartment has 1,125 square feet of living space, Brazilian cherry herringbone floors throughout. A large gourmet kitchen features Viking, Thermador, and Miele stainless steel appliances.

There were two closings in April, beginning with Unit #4D. Designed by Victor Shargai, the two-bedroom, 2.5-bath residence sold for $1,650,000 after listing for $1,699,000. Among the many features are full height built-ins, a wet bar, a gourmet kitchen with top of the line appliances, and two balconies, one of which is accessible through a primary bedroom suite.

Unit #4E sold for $1,250,000 after listing for $1,295,000. The super-sized one-bedroom residence with a den and 2.5 baths has herringbone hardwood floors, giant windows, a private balcony, and a top of the line gourmet kitchen with Poggenpohl cabinetry, high-end stainless steel appliances, and a white brick backsplash.
