Ritz-Carlton West End | Market Pulse | January 2022

Known for its global luxury and full service brand, The Ritz-Carlton West End is one of three Ritz-Carlton locations in the Washington, DC area, with the others in Georgetown and Chevy Chase. The West End address features both a hotel and two condominium towers, along with a wide arrange of amenities and ground level retail.

New to the market in January is Unit #8K. Priced at $1,375,000, the two-bedroom, two-bath apartment has an airy layout with 1,422 square feet of living space and huge window walls. The many features include custom built-ins, a fireplace in the living room, views of the courtyard, and Brazilian cherry herringbone floors. Unit #5C listed in January, after previously selling in October of last year. Priced at $1,795,000, the two-bedroom, 2.5-bath condo with 1,846 square feet of living space has a huge many living area that can leave the formal dining room free to use as a den or office. There’s marble tile in the foyer and lovely Brazilian cherry herringbone floors throughout the living areas. Other features include a private balcony.

Offered at $2,595,000, Unit #6B features a seven-figure remodel. The 2,449 square foot residence with three bedrooms and 3.5 baths presents elegant modernity at every turn. From custom built-ins to wall treatments and a stunning white-on-white gourmet kitchen with panelized stainless steel appliances, this is a true showcase apartment. A large private terrace adds further to the appeal.

Still available is Unit #5B with an asking price of $2,495,000. The highly impressive 2,449 square foot residence offers three bedrooms and 3.5 baths, along with a living room framed by built-ins, blonde floors, an incredibly long formal dining room, and a gourmet kitchen. Unit #5G is now pending, having been listed at $875,000. With two bedrooms, two baths and 1,147 square feet of interior space, the lovely apartment has Brazilian cherry floors, tall ceilings, extra-wide crown molding, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a long balcony that is accessible from both the living room and the master suite.

There were two closings in January. The first, Unit #7G, sold for its full asking price of $1,695,000. The two-bedroom, 3.5-bath apartment has 2,015 square feet of living space, including a den/library. The huge owners’ suite features twin walk-in closets, and his and her baths. Walls of giant windows allow in tons of natural light. Other notable details include arched passageways.

The second closing is Unit #2D which sold for $1,385,000 after listing for $1,395,000. The bright and airy two-bedroom, 2.5-bath residence has 1,760 square feet of living space. Unit #4M has been withdrawn for now, but we’ll keep tab to see if and when it relists. It had been priced at $819,000 with two bedrooms and two baths. The 1,094 square foot flat enjoys lots of natural light from its full height windows. Brazilian cherry herringbone floors, and a walk-in gourmet kitchen with granite counters and stainless steel appliances are featured.

Ritz-Carlton West End residents enjoy the white gloves treatment, with a 24/7 front desk and concierge, and options for housekeeping, room service and even private chefs. A lovely courtyard is highlighted by a huge waterfall and beautiful gardens. Also notable is the priority access to Equinox Sports Club with its indoor heated salt-water pool.
