Full service amenities and spacious condominiums are on the menu at The Ritz-Carlton West End in Washington, DC’s popular West End neighborhood. Part of the famous Ritz-Carlton hospitality brand, the mixed-use community also includes a hotel, along with perk options like housekeeping, room service and even private chefs. Also in the Washington Metro region are the Ritz-Carlton Georgetown, and the soon-to-be-completed Ritz-Carlton Chevy Chase.
There were no new listings in July at the Ritz-Carlton West End. Instead, it was a month with a lot of sales activity, both in new contracts and closings. But with that said, there are still some intriguing available listings.
Unit #4G is still active with a price tag of $1,049,000. The two bedroom, two-bath residence features an owner’s suite and a second bedroom that also serves nicely as a work-from-home office space. Floor-to-ceiling windows allow tons of natural light to illuminate the Brazilian Cherry floors. There’s also a gas fireplace, an adjacent dining area with tall built-ins, and a large private terrace.
Priced at $1,100,000, Unit #6G is being sold fully furnished. The one-bedroom, two-bath apartment also has a den, with 1,062 square feet of living space. Large open spaces, custom wall finishes, lovely herringbone floors and massive windows overlooking the courtyard add to appeal. Other features include a large foyer, a gourmet kitchen, an in-unit washer/dryer and one parking space.
Unit #5B came to market last month and already has a price decrease. The luxurious three-bedroom, 3.5-bath residence with 2,559 square feet of living space had been listed at $2,625,000 before dropping to $2,550,000. Lovely crown molding, hardwood floors and a fireplace add to the welcoming feeling, joined by a formal dining room, gourmet kitchen and spacious terrace.
Now pending, Unit #PH2E is a prime example of luxe living at the Ritz. Listed at $3,795,000, the 4,008 square foot penthouse offers three bedrooms, 3.5 baths, a home office, a den with a bar, a media room, custom wall treatments, a primary Chef’s kitchen, and a secondary catering kitchen with a wine cooler. There’s also considerable private outdoor space with three lovely terraces.
Unit #3L also went under contract in July. Priced at $990,000, the one-bedroom, 1.5-bath flat sports a contemporary look with dark hardwood floors. A sleek remodeled open kitchen features a white marble waterfall island, marble slab backsplash and stainless steel Viking appliances. A large bedroom has been customized with built-in closets, pendant lighting, a built-in desk and a wall of windows.
After a price decrease to $1,450,000 in June, Unit #5K is now pending. The recently renovated apartment has two bedroom, two baths, 1,422 square feet of space, and lovely south garden southern exposures. The unit eschews the herringbone-style floors often found at the Ritz-Carlton in favor of pale blonde wide-plank hardwoods. Giant sliders lead out to a large patio.
Unit #3F closed in July for $2,200,000. The two-bedroom, 2.5-bath residence came to market in June and received its accepted offer just three days later. With 2,648 square feet of living space, the apartment has a centrally positioned gourmet kitchen, with living spaces as well as a balcony at one end, and bedrooms at the other end.
Unit #PH1A also sold in July. The corner penthouse with three bedrooms and 3.5 baths was listed at $2,099,900 before ultimately closing at $1,900,000. A huge owner’s suite has a sitting area, three walk-in closets and a glorious marble master bath. Brazilian cherry herringbone floors and a fireplace are among the additional touches for the 2,648 square foot residence.
Residents at The Ritz-Carlton West End enjoy a courtyard with waterfall, beautiful gardens, a heated indoor swimming pool, front desk and concierge, and priority access to Equinox Sports Club. Street level businesses include CVS, Sweetgreen and SoulCycle. Landmark’s West End Cinema is steps away, as are local restaurants.
