Ritz-Carlton West End | Market Pulse | June 2021

The Ritz-Carlton West End is the luxury branded hotel and condominium community in Washington’s West End neighborhood. Residents in the two condo towers enjoy a wide range of amenities, including options for housekeeping, room service and even private chefs from the hotel. The floorplans are quite generous in size, with a variety of models that go far beyond the “shoebox” style that is so prevalent these days.

Unit #PH2E is a prime example of luxe living at the Ritz. Listed at $3,795,000, the 4,008 square foot penthouse offers three bedrooms, 3.5 baths, a home office, a den with a bar, a media room, custom wall treatments, a primary Chef’s kitchen, and a secondary catering kitchen with a wine cooler. A soaring coffered ceiling with remarkable millwork will take your breath away. Enjoy your private outdoor time with three lovely terraces.

Priced at $1,100,000, Unit #6G is being sold fully furnished. The one-bedroom, two-bath apartment also has a den, with 1,062 square feet of living space. Large open spaces, custom wall finishes, lovely herringbone floors and massive windows overlooking the courtyard add to appeal. Other features include a large foyer, a gourmet kitchen, an in-unit washer/dryer and one parking space.

Unit #4G remains available at $1,049,000. The 1,147 square foot residence has an owner’s suite, two full baths and second bedroom that also serves nicely as a work-from-home office space. Floor-to-ceiling windows allow tons of natural light to illuminate the Brazilian Cherry floors. There’s also a gas fireplace, an adjacent dining area with tall built-ins, and a large private terrace!

Unit #3L is priced at $990,000. The one-bedroom, 1.5-bath flat sports a contemporary look with dark hardwood floors. A sleek remodeled open kitchen features a white marble waterfall island, marble slab backsplash and stainless steel Viking appliances. A large bedroom has been customized with built-in closets, pendant lighting, a built-in desk and a wall of windows.

There’s a brand new price decrease on Unit #5K, from $1.5 million down to $1,450,000. The recently renovated apartment has two bedroom, two baths, 1,422 square feet of space, and lovely south garden southern exposures. The unit eschews the herringbone-style floors often found at the Ritz-Carlton in favor of pale blonde wide-plank hardwoods. Giant sliders lead out to a large patio.

Unit #3F came to market in June and went under contract just two days later! The two-bedroom, 2.5-bath residence with 2,648 square feet of living space was listed at $2,295,000. The intriguing floorplan includes a front foyer, a gallery, two bedrooms at one end and the living room, dining room, breakfast room and balcony at the other. A large gourmet kitchen is centrally positioned.

Unit #PH1A is also now pending. The corner penthouse with three bedrooms and 3.5 baths had been listed at $2,099,900. A huge owner’s suite has a sitting area, three walk-in closets and a glorious marble master bath. Brazilian cherry herringbone floors and a fireplace are among the additional touches for the 2,648 square foot residence.
While there were no closings at the Ritz-Carlton West End in June. The two pending units mentioned above are each scheduled to settle this month.

Those fortunate enough to live at The Ritz-Carlton West End enjoy lovely gardens, a courtyard with waterfall, a heated indoor swimming pool, front desk and concierge, and priority access to Equinox Sports Club. Street level businesses include CVS, Sweetgreen and SoulCycle. Landmark’s West End Cinema is steps away, as are local restaurants.
