Ritz-Carlton West End | Market Pulse | March 2020

The Residences at Ritz-Carlton West End offer a pampered, full-service lifestyle experience with two condominium towers flanking a Ritz-Carlton Hotel. Located in the walk-friendly West End neighborhood, these upscale city homes have roomy floorplans with elegant designs, along with lots of extras. The mixed-use community also features popular street level businesses.

New to the market in March is Unit #PH2C. The beautifully renovated penthouse has 2-bedrooms, a family room that can be converted back to its original purpose as a third bedroom, plus 3-baths. Listed at $2,450,000, the 2,457 square foot residence has two levels of living space, a lovely marble fireplace and three private terraces including a stunning rooftop deck. With an open layout and white oak hardwood floors, the residence also comes with a renovated kitchen with quartz waterfall counters, a Waterworks backsplash, Wolfe range and Sub-Zero glass front fridge.

Still available is one of Washington’s most exclusive penthouses. Unit #PH3E is priced at $6,895,000 with 3-bedrooms, 5.5-baths and 5,112 square feet of living space spread out over two levels. Dark hardwood floors, two guest suites, an owner’s suite, family room, library, exercise room, upper level den and an outrageous 4,000 square foot private roof terrace help complete the picture of this city home in the sky.

Still active is Unit #2C with an asking price of $1,329,000. The 2-bedroom, 2.5-bath apartment has 1,806 square feet of space with a marble foyer leading into a classic layout, with Brazilian Cherry herringbone floors in the living room and formal dining room. Also notable is the gourmet kitchen with custom cabinets and recessed appliances, plus built-ins and en-suite marble baths.

Unit #8J is a competitively priced opportunity at the Ritz-Carlton West End at $679,000. With 771 square feet of space, the charming 1-bedroom, 1-bath flat has new wide-plank floors, a gourmet kitchen with granite counters and stainless steel appliances, an in-unit washer and dryer, private parking and south facing views of the courtyard.

Unit #PH1G remains in active under contract status. The renovated 2-bedroom, 2-bath penthouse has 1,147 square feet of space and is priced at $1,085,000. It’s one of only four residences on its floor, and features new hardwood floors, a gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a nice-sized private balcony. While a closing date in mid-April is anticipated, the pending status does included contingencies.

Unit #PH3P has been withdrawn. The tri-level residence with 2-bedrooms, 2.5-baths and 2,150 square feet of living space had been listed at $1,999,000. The intriguing floorplan included an owner’s suite and second bedroom suite on the lower level, a foyer, kitchen and living area on the second level and a large office with sliders leading out to an impressive private deck on the upper level.

Unit #PH2E is temporarily off the market. The 3-bedroom, 3.5-bath penthouse with 4,008 square feet of living space had been priced at $3,795,000. Features include a coffered ceiling, custom wall treatments and three private terraces. A large gourmet kitchen is bordered by a sunroom with breakfast bar to one side and a family room to the other. There’s also a home office with catering kitchen.

There were no new contracts or closings in March.

Condo owners at the Ritz-Carlton West End have the option of enjoying hotel services such as housekeeping, room service and private chefs. Also included is a heated indoor swimming pool, a central courtyard with waterfall and priority access to Equinox Sports Club. Other street level businesses include CVS, SoulCycle and Sweet Green. Additionally, Landmark’s West End Cinema and restaurants like Rasika, Blue Duck Tavern and Café Deluxe are just steps away.
