Ritz-Carlton West End | Market Pulse | November 2021

The Ritz-Carlton West End is part of the global hospitality brand, and in this case, is located in Washington, DC’s West End neighborhood. The full-service community includes a central hotel component flanked by two condominium towers, as well as ground floor retail. There two other locations in the Washington area as well; one in Georgetown and a brand new Ritz-Carlton condo building in Chevy Chase.

New to the market in November is Unit #3A. Offered at $2,495,000, the three bedroom corner apartment has 3.5 baths and a spacious 2,771 square foot layout. A grand foyer, stunning Brazilian cherry herringbone floors and giant window walls add to the appeal. There’s a large fireplace in the living room, a formal dining room, a study and two private outdoor terraces as well.

Unit #5B is a very impressive 2,449 square foot residence with three bedrooms and 3.5 baths. Listed at $2,495,000, the elegant apartment features a living room framed by built-ins, blonde floors, an incredibly long formal dining room and a gourmet kitchen. A spacious private terrace is perfect for dining al fresco on summer nights.

Unit #5G listed late in October and remains available for $875,000. With two bedrooms, two baths and 1,147 square feet of interior space, the lovely apartment has Brazilian cherry floors, tall ceilings, extra-wide crown molding, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a long balcony that is accessible from both the living room and the master suite.

Unit #4M was withdrawn from the market last month but is active again at a reduced price; cut from $835,000 down to $819,000. Brazilian cherry herringbone floors, and a walk-in gourmet kitchen with granite counters and stainless steel appliances are featured.

Unit #7G has been reduced a tick, from $1.7 million to $1,695,000. The unique two-bedroom, 3.5-bath floorplan includes a den/library that separates the living spaces from a huge owners’ suite with twin walk-in closets, and his and her baths. The second bedroom suite with its own bath and walk-in closet is on the opposite side of the apartment, ensuring privacy.

Unit #2C went pending in November. Listed at $1,299,000, the spacious two-bedroom, 2.5-bath residence has a 1,806 square foot layout, with a formal foyer, custom built-ins and herringbone floors. The gourmet kitchen has been opened up to the adjacent formal dining room. Each of the bedrooms has a full en-suite bath. The second bedroom has full-height built-ins.

Unit #2D is also pending. Priced at $1,395,000, the two-bedroom, 2.5-bath residence has 1,760 square feet of living space. The bright and airy apartment has huge windows, custom wall treatments, herringbone hardwoods, a west-facing balcony and a large east-facing wraparound terrace.

Unit #8D remains under contract with an anticipated closing date in the middle of December. Listed at $1,750,000, the residence has two bedrooms, a den and 2.5 baths, with 1,785 square feet of living space. Add to that, a giant open concept living/dining area, a library with a wall of built-ins, and not one, but two private balconies.

Unit #5C also remains pending. The two-bedroom, 2.5-bath condo with 1,846 square feet of living space was priced at $1,649,000. A grand foyer introduces the apartment with its large and open living and dining area, an adjacent open den with built-ins, a gourmet kitchen and a lovely balcony.

There were multiple closings in November, beginning with Unit #6L, an exclusive Life at the Top listing. The chic two-bedroom, two-bath apartment was offered at $999,500 and sold for $979,000. The appealing 1,324 square foot layout features Brazilian cherry herringbone floors, a gas fireplace, built-ins, and a private terrace.

Unit #5D listed at $1,395,000 and closed over the asking price at $1,450,000. The two-bedroom, 2.5-bath apartment with 1,785 square feet of space has herringbone floors and two private balconies—one facing west and the other facing east, with lovely courtyard floors. The bedrooms are large and the gourmet kitchen is nicely appointed.

The final closing is Unit #PH1F, which listed at $810,000 and sold for $800,000, The one-bedroom, two-bath penthouse has 978 square feet of living space, with a huge open living and dining space with an entire wall of floor-to-ceiling windows. The gourmet kitchen has black granite counters and stainless steel appliances. Stunning blonde hardwoods run throughout.

Residents at The Ritz-Carlton West End enjoy a wide range of amenities, including a 24/7 front desk and concierge, and options for housekeeping, room service and even private chefs.
