Offering white gloves service and a prime Washington, DC location, the Ritz-Carlton West End combines two 11-story condo towers with a high-end hotel, restaurant, and street level retail. The West End address is one of three DC area locations for the global Ritz-Carlton hospitality brand, the others being in Georgetown and Chevy Chase

Still available with an asking price of $2,799,000 is Unit #8E with its extremely spacious 3,153 square foot layout. The airy three-bedroom, 3.5-bath apartment boasts giant window walls that allow natural light to stream inside, bathing the blonde hardwood floors in a welcoming glow. Other features include an expansive living room area with fireplace, a family room, a formal dining room, and a gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances.

Also listing in October and newly under contract is Unit #2D. The two-bedroom apartment with 2.5 baths had been offered at $1,850,000 and is now pending with contingencies. A gracious entry hall with built-ins segues to the living room, and a formal dining room with designer wallpaper. There are two private terraces, a wonderful gourmet kitchen with top of the line appliances, and Brazilian cherry herringbone floors. Both bedrooms are ensuite with marble baths.

There was one closing in October. Unit #5E is a very impressive residence with three bedrooms, three baths, and a spacious 3,096 square foot floorplan. The recently remodeled condo sold for $4 million. Among the many stylish features are wooden wall treatments and an incredible open chef-style kitchen with an extended dining bar that is reminiscent of an upscale restaurant. Also notable is the 550 square foot private patio that is perfect for lounging and outdoor barbeques.

Unit #6C has been withdrawn. The two-bedroom, 2.5-bath apartment had been listed at $1,675,000 and features Brazilian cherry floors, a very roomy gourmet kitchen, a formal dining room, marble baths, and a private outdoor terrace. We will keep an eye out to see if this one comes back to market.
Condominium residents at the Ritz-Carlton West End enjoy plenty of perks, including a staffed front desk, concierge service, a doorman, porters, and options for maid service, room service, and private catering.
