Located in Washington, DC’s West End neighborhood is a unique mixed-use community. The Columbia was once known as The Columbia Hospital for Women. But the century-old Italianate complex was renovated and expanded, resulting in 225 luxury condos as well as ground floor retail, including a Trader Joe’s market.

Newly listed in January is Unit #436, a 2-bedroom, 2-bath corner residence with 1,354 square feet of living space. Lastly are two expired listings. Unit #308 with 2-bedrooms, 2-baths and 1,213 square of living space was priced at $794,900. Unit #301 is a 1-bedroom, 1-bath with 745 square feet and had been reduced twice, winding up at $439,950 before lapsing on January 1.

Located at 2425 L Street, the Columbia offers plenty of amenities to its residents, including a rooftop pool, a gym, billiards room, front desk and concierge service. There’s also the downstairs Trader Joe’s as well as neighborhood attractions like the West End Independent Art House Cinema and numerous restaurants.
