There were no new listings in December, and in fact, there is only one active public listing as of this report. However, the one available apartment is certainly a doozy. Priced at $6,2500,000, Unit #2901 is a 4,600 square foot penthouse that is the result of combining two condos into one oversized residence. Rebuilt by Peterson & Collins, and designed by Rina Yan, the ultra-spacious city home has three bedrooms, three full baths, and two powder rooms. Unit #1503 received an accepted offer in December and is currently in Active under Contract status. That means that the apartment is pending with contingencies. There are cityscape views as well as peeks of the river and the Washington Monument. The two bedrooms, each with new carpeting, are positioned on opposite sides for ultimate privacy. There were no new sales in December. The most recent closing was back in October, with Unit #1906 selling for $575,000 after listing for $595,000. The one-bedroom condo with one bath and 808 square feet of living space, including a bonus den. There’s lots of closet space, wide-plank blonde wood flooring, and massive windows offering tantalizing river and monuments glimpses. An open gourmet kitchen tucks into one corner, with ornate wood cabinets, granite counters, and high-end appliances. Updates include a fireplace and hanging Italian pendant lights. The apartment comes with one deeded garage parking space, and a large storage unit.

Those fortunate enough to live at the Waterview enjoy a number of full service perks, including room service from the popular hotel restaurant, Amuse. There is also discounted dining at the restaurant and bar, as well as discounted hotel rooms for guests or family. Other amenities include a staffed front desk, concierge service, a well-equipped fitness center, a community room, optional maid service, and a 31st floor observation deck with grills and fire pits. Rosslyn is often described as the Gateway to Arlington, and is the first of five trendy, Metro-connected villages along the Rosslyn-Clarendon Corridor.
