Located in Rosslyn near the edge of the Potomac River, The Waterview certainly lives up to its name. Designed by Pei Cobb Freed, the full service condominium is part of a complex that also includes Le Meridien Hotel and a 23-story office tower. Although active listings have been scarce at the popular address in recent months, there has recently been fresh activity.

Unit #1509 is new to the market in June, with one bedroom, one bath and a $729,000 asking price. Unit #2207 was temporarily taken off the market in June, but turned active again at the beginning of July with a reduced price of $1,098,000. The handsome apartment has two bedrooms, 2.5 baths and 1,232 feet of living space. Blonde hardwoods run throughout. The master bedroom has a customized closet and en-suite marble bath. The open gourmet kitchen is finished with red wood cabinets, along with Viking, Sub-Zero and Miele stainless steel appliances. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer views of the river and DC monuments. Unit #2004 listed in June for $510,000 and has already closed for $494,000. The one-bedroom, one-bath flat has 570 square feet of space with tons of light from giant windows. Blonde hardwood floors are in the living area with carpet in the bedroom. A space-saving gourmet kitchen is set into a single wall. Washer and dryer plus one parking space conveyed.

The Waterview is well known for its full service amenities. The residents-only observation deck offers some of the best views in the region.
