Still the tallest condo building in the Washington Metro area, Turnberry Tower soars high above the Potomac River in Arlington’s Rosslyn neighborhood. Designed by Robert Swedroe and completed in 2009, the sleek 26-story tower offers high end finishes, sweeping waterfront views, and an array of full service resort-style amenities second to none.

Listed at $1,075,000, Unit #804 is a 1,645 square foot one-bedroom, two-bath apartment with a bonus den that can serve nicely as flex space. Use it for a work-from-home space, a den, a media room, or a second bedroom. This handsome condo has modern and very stylish finishes, with beautiful hardwood floors, a private elevator, and an expansive private balcony. The kitchen is a foodie’s dream and the spacious primary suite features two walk-in closets, and a large spa-style bath with a jacuzzi tub and a separate walk-in shower.

Unit #705 came to market in April and already has a price decrease. The one-bedroom, 1.5-bath condo with a spacious 1,322 square foot layout was originally listed at $849,900 but has now been reduced to $835,000. The unit also has a double-door oversized walk-in pantry and storage space that could potentially be converted to a home office. Other features include hardwood floors, a large and open main living area, a gourmet kitchen with Italian Snaidero cabinetry and upscale panelized appliances, a terrific primary suite with marble bath, and a large private outdoor terrace.

Unit #405 is in Coming Soon status and may be officially active by the time this report publishes. The one-bedroom, 1.5-bath residence is expected to be listed at $925,000. The bedroom is quite large with a sitting area, custom walk-in closet, and ensuite spa bath. The expansive private terrace is accessible through both the living area and the bedroom. After relisting in April at $3,400,000, Unit #TS09 is now in A/C status, standing for Active Under Contract. This means that the listing has an accepted offer and is pending with contingencies. This Tower Suite at the top of the building checks all the boxes, including stunning views of the Potomac River. Other features for the 2,655 square foot residence with three bedrooms and three baths include a private elevator, a huge primary suite with a spa bath and fully built-out walk-in closet, and a 514 square foot roof level terrace that spans the width of the unit. A massive living area with custom wall treatments, a chef-inspired kitchen, and a temperature controlled wine cellar help round out the offering.

Unit #1402 is also currently pending. The rarely available F-model has two bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and a bonus den that is suitable for use as a work-from-home office or third bedroom. The 2,227 square foot apartment also features a private elevator, an immaculate gourmet kitchen, white tile floors, and a 242 square foot private balcony. The list price before going under contract was $1,890,000.

There were two sales at Turnberry Tower in April, beginning with Unit #2410. The two-bedroom condo with 2.5 baths and a bonus den enjoys an airy and open 2,267 square foot floorplan. This impressive residence closed at the full asking price of $2,995,000. Among the many features are diagonally laid hardwood floors, a private elevator, a remodeled gourmet kitchen, a walk-in laundry room, and a sweeping private terrace.

The other closing was Unit #812. The two-bedroom apartment with two baths and 1,742 square feet of living space sold for $1,230,000 after listing for $1,250,000. The residence has a private elevator, a wonderful foyer with built-ins, beautiful wood floors, and a terrific primary suite with an enormous walk-in closet and a lavish ensuite bath. A massive outdoor terrace enjoys three entry points.

Residents at Turmberry Tower enjoy an incredible array of amenities including a large and lovely lobby with 24/7 concierge, valets, and security. There is also an eye-popping heated indoor swimming pool with a towering glass ceiling, as well as a state-of-the-art fitness center with trainers, a yoga studio, a sauna, and a wellness center.
