Turnberry Tower |Market Pulse | February 2025

Pairing its waterfront location in Rosslyn with a vast array of full-service amenities, Turnberry Tower has long set a standard for unparalleled luxury. Designed by Robert Swedroe, the ultra-sleek condominium soars 26 stories above the banks of the Potomac River. From sweeping cityscape and river views to its resort-style features, the tallest residential building in Washington Metro remains the one to beat.

Positioned at the very top of the high-rise, above the penthouse level, is Unit #TS09. Priced at $3,400,000, the spectacular Tower Suite boasts 11-foot ceilings, three bedrooms, three baths, and 2,655 square feet of airy living space. The condo in the sky also has a private elevator, a temperature controlled wine cellar, and a huge primary suite with a lavish spa bath, dressing room, and a floating enclosed storage closet. Also quite noteworthy are the incredible views of the Potomac River, from the giant window walls as well as from the 514 square foot private roof terrace.

Unit #1012 is listed at $1,500,000. The two-bedroom, two-bath residence has a spacious 1,752 square foot floorplan with a private elevator, and massive full-height windows that invite the outdoor views right inside. An expansive balcony is accessible from the main living area as well as from both bedrooms. Lovely hardwood floors and an open gourmet kitchen add to the allure, as does the expansive primary suite with its own sitting/desk area, a giant walk-in dressing room/closet, and a lavish ensuite marble bath with a twin-sink vanity and separate tub and shower.

Unit #804 has already been reduced in price since coming to market in January. Originally listed at $1,165,000, the 1,645 square foot apartment is now available for $1,075,000. The condo also comes fully furnished with tasteful, modernist décor. There is one bedroom, a large den that can serve equally well as an office or a second sleeping space, and two full baths. The spacious primary suite features two walk-in closets, and a large spa-style bath with a jacuzzi tub and a separate walk-in shower.

After listing in February for $2,995,000, Unit #2410 is now in A/C status. That means that the two-bedroom residence with 2.5 baths and a den has received an accepted offer and is pending with contingencies. The condo has a private elevator, lovely diagonally laid hardwood floors, a large main living area and a gourmet kitchen has been nicely remodeled with stunning new counters that complement the glossy Snaidero cabinetry and upscale Sub-Zero and Miele appliances. A sweeping private terrace offers cityscape views and there is also a walk-in laundry room.

Unit #1404 is also now pending in A/C (Active Under Contract) status. Listed at $1,075,000, the 1,645 square foot two-bedroom residence with two full baths offers direct elevator access leading into the main living areas. Beautiful wide-plank wood floors run throughout, with an organic layout that positions the gourmet kitchen between the main living room area and a separate formal dining room. Cove ceilings, a sweeping private terrace, and an impressive primary suite add to the appeal.

Unit #911 came to market in February and received an accepted offer in just 10 days’ time. Priced at $1,825,000, the two-bedroom flat with 2.5 baths and 2,229 square feet of sunny living space is now pending, with an anticipated closing date at the end of March. Features include a library/office, hardwood floors in the main living areas, a gourmet kitchen, direct elevator access, an in-unit laundry room, a large private terrace, and parking.

There was one closing in February. Unit #409 sold for $965,000 after listing for $1,050,000. The 1,642 square foot condo has two bedrooms, two baths, and blonde hardwood floors. Other features include direct elevator access and giant sliders that open out to the expansive private balcony. The gourmet kitchen with its glossy Snaidero Italian cabinetry is open to the living areas, the primary bedroom enjoys two walk-in closets, and there is also a laundry room with a sink.

There are few condo buildings in the area that provide as many luxurious amenities as Turnberry Tower. Residents enjoy 24/7 concierge service, valets, security, and a massive indoor heated swimming pool with a towering glass ceiling. Fitness features include a state-of-the-art fitness center with professional trainers, a yoga studio, sauna, and a wellness space. There is also a screening room with reclining leather seats, a lounge with billiards, business rooms, and secure garage parking. Key Bridge leading across the river to Georgetown is nearby, as is the Rosslyn Metro Station.
