Turnberry Tower |Market Pulse | January 2022

Located in Arlington’s popular Rosslyn waterfront neighborhood, Turnberry Tower offers exceptional views of the Potomac River. The glittering curvilinear tower is part of the global Turnberry luxury brand, and is known for its wide array of full service amenities. January has brought a rush of activity to the perennially popular building, with new listings and sales.

Starting out the fresh listings in the New Year, Unit #1507 is priced at $1,010,000. The 1,405 square foot apartment has one bedroom, an enclosed den that also functions nicely as a second bedroom, and two full baths. There’s marble flooring in the living areas and hardwood in the primary bedroom. The open kitchen has a stylish brick addition to the serving counter; there’s also a nice big balcony.

Introduced at $899,900, Unit #1205 is a large one-bedroom model with 1.5 baths and 1,322 square feet of living space. The layout is nice and open with plenty of natural light, and giant sliders leading out to 30-foot long terrace balcony. The terrace can also be accessed from the oversized bedroom. Also noteworthy is an office nook, a walk-in closet with Elfa shelving, and a washer/dryer stack.

Unit #406 entered the marketplace in January with an $885,000 asking price. The one-bedroom flat has a bonus den with pocket doors, and two full baths. Unit #1002 remains active at $1,680,000. The F-Model offers two bedrooms, a den that works nicely as a home office or library, 2.5 baths and a 2,227 square foot layout. A private elevator open to a foyer with marble tile floors. The large living areas are augmented by millwork and tray ceilings. A large gourmet kitchen features glossy Snaidero Italian cabinetry, with panelized upscale appliances, a wine fridge and a center island.

January also produced an impressive sale with Unit #1902. The stunning corner residence with three bedrooms, a den, a private elevator and 3.5 baths closed for $3,060,000. New light-toned hardwood floors run through the apartment and the huge owners’ suite has a walk-in closet as big as some bedrooms! A large balcony has unobstructed west-facing views. Two premiere parking spaces and extra storage were included.

Unit #205 has been temporarily taken off the market. The one-bedroom apartment with a bonus den and 1.5 baths had been listed at $850,000. Custom wall colors and lovely wide-plank wood floors are found throughout the 1,322 sq. ft. layout. The attractive gourmet kitchen features Snaidero custom cabinetry, granite counters and panelized appliances. We will track this to see if it becomes active again.
