Turnberry Tower |Market Pulse | March 2024

Rising 26 stories into the sky along the Rosslyn waterfront in Arlington, Virginia is the luxurious Turnberry Tower. Designed by Robert Swedroe and completed in 2009, this remains the tallest residential building in the region and also offers an incredible array of amenities. The views are a key feature, from cityscapes to panoramic vistas of the Potomac River. Turnberry Tower is walking distance from Key Bridge, allowing easy access to Georgetown on the other side of the river. The Rosslyn Metro is also steps away.

New to the market in March is Unit #512. We mentioned this apartment last month as “coming soon.” The D Model condo with two bedrooms and two baths is now active and listed at $1,200,000. With 1,742 square feet of modern living space, the apartment showcases exquisite finishes, custom millwork, elegant marble, and granite elements, and a 314 square foot private balcony. There is also a private elevator, but no assigned parking.

Still available is the spectacular Unit #TS02 with an asking price of $3,500,000. The two-bedroom, 3.5-bath apartment with its 3,050 square foot layout enjoys a direct access elevator, a large foyer, and a huge open living and dining area with wraparound windows and spectacular views of the river. Similarly, Unit #1908 went into A/C status after a price cut, from $1,798,000 down to $1,790,000. Views of the river as well as the city are on full display from the floor-to-ceiling windows as well as the extended balcony.

The other sale is Unit #406, a spacious one-bedroom flat with a large den and two full marble baths. The 1,404 square foot condo closed at $850,000 after listing for $865,000, Features include marble tile floors, a super wide balcony, a washer and dryer combo, and reserved parking.

The list of amenities at Turnberry Tower is mind-boggling. It begins with an elegant lobby, a staffed front desk, concierge, doormen and parking valets. The heated indoor swimming pool is housed in a huge atrium-like setting with a glass ceiling. Work out in the state-of-the-art fitness center including a yoga studio and spa. Catch a movie in the private theater with its deep leather chairs or enjoy the lounge with its billiards and bar. Rosslyn itself is considered the Gateway to Arlington and is the first of five Metro-connected trending urban villages along the Rosslyn-Ballston Corridor.
