Turnberry Tower is perched by the Potomac River in Arlington’s Rosslyn neighborhood. Known for its superb views, the sleek, 26-story structure was designed by ACG Architects. Residents enjoy numerous amenities including a staffed front desk, concierge service, valet parking, a heated indoor swimming pool, a screening room with catering kitchen and secure parking.

Unit #1411 came to market in September with an asking price of $1,950,000. The two-bedroom, 2.5-bath flat has a spacious layout of 2,229 square feet. A private elevator, formal entry hall, custom wall treatments, hardwood floors and a large private terrace are among the many features. Also notable is the gourmet kitchen with glossy Snaidero cabinetry.

Also new in September is Unit #1204, listed at $1,115,000. The 1,645 square foot apartment has one bedroom, a den with French doors and two full marble baths. Unit #406 has also seen multiple price reductions and is now available for $848,999. Unit #1708 went pending in September after listing for $935,000. With one bedroom, 1.5 baths and 1,312 square feet of living space, the apartment has been customized so as to offer constant enjoyment of panoramic views of the Potomac and Georgetown. Wide-plank flooring, a private terrace and an open gourmet kitchen add to the appeal.

Unit #2301 closed in September. The spectacular penthouse originally listed for $4,395,000 and ultimately sold for $3,200,000. With three bedrooms and 4.5 baths, this giant residence offers 4,447 square feet of luxurious space. Included is a private elevator, media room, office and a sweeping balcony that offers fantastic views of the Potomac River, Washington and Arlington.

Unit #1011 also sold in September. The 2,229 square foot flat with two bedrooms and a den was listed at $1,799,000 before closing at $1,700.000. The glossy gourmet kitchen looks straight out of a magazine, and the marble bathrooms are lavish indeed.

Unit #1601 has been withdrawn. The two-bedroom, two-bath apartment with 1,754 square feet of space had been listed at $1,525,000. Knotty blonde hardwood floors run throughout the living areas. Features include direct elevator access, an open kitchen and large balcony accessible from multiple rooms, including the master suite.

Unit #2309 expired in September. Priced at $2,799,000, the sky-high apartment featured two bedrooms, 2.5 baths, 2,655 square feet of living space, a large den with built-ins, a private elevator, marble tile floors, custom wall treatments and a sweeping balcony with Potomac River views.

Rosslyn is the first of several urban villages that are connected via the Metro system along the trendy Rosslyn-Ballston Corridor. Often referred to as the Gateway to Arlington, the waterfront community has consistently evolved since its early days as a Colonial ferry landing.
