Wooster and Mercer | Market Pulse | December 2018

Offering authentic loft design and a prime location, Wooster and Mercer is one of Arlington’s most popular upscale condominium communities. Dramatic living spaces, giant factory-style windows and 140-year-old interior brick accents are just a few of the features at this trendy development built in 2007.

Unit #W305 is a spectacular 3,000 square foot loft residence with 3-bedrooms, 3-baths and towering two-story wraparound windows. This corner unit has a beautiful gourmet kitchen that is open to the main living area as well as a wet bar on the second level. Warm hardwood floors, floating iron stairs, exposed brick and industrial ductwork add to the allure. Originally listed at $1,699,000, this lovely loft is currently available for $1,649,000.

The only other unit available as of December is #W212, a very roomy 1-bedroom, 1-bath with 1,294 square feet of interior space. Gleaming hardwood floors, giant windows and an open, contemporary kitchen with stainless steel appliances are all part of the package. Also worth noting are frosted glass-paneled bedroom doors, a slate bathroom, antique brick accents, overhead ductwork and a balcony overlooking the grass and trees. The asking price is $749,900.

The only closing in December was #W108. The 2-bedroom, 2-bath corner unit has giant wraparound windows allowing sunlight to flood the hardwood floors. The 1,710 square foot apartment has an open gourmet kitchen with Sub-Zero, Wolf and GE Monogram appliances, plus custom wood closet organizers and two parking spaces. The closing price was $960,000 after its previous listing of $998,000.

Also worth noting is a closing at the very end of November for #W108, a 2-bedroom, 2.5-bath loft with floating spiral stairs and rare-wood built-ins. With a balcony overlooking the pool and an amazing master bedroom suite, the 1,592 square foot unit closed for $1,150,000 after its pervious asking price of $1,214,800.
