Modern Living at Wooster and Mercer Lofts

Ideally located between the Rosslyn and Courthouse Metro stations, the Wooster and Mercer Lofts offer new construction combined with authentic touches from a bygone era. With giant factory-style windows and 140 year-old interior bricks, this is one of Arlington’s most popular complexes.

Two new entries entered the marketplace in September. Unit #W315 is a stunningly large and open residence with two full stories plus a loft on top of that! There’s 3-beds and 3 full baths, including two master bedroom suites. Add spiral stairs, 3,000 square feet of living space and two-story windows for $1,699,900. Also new is Unit #212, an extra-large 1-bedroom flat measuring 1,294 square feet with honey hardwoods and a wonderful open floor plan for $775,000.

Unit #W301 was reduced in September from $1,238,000 down to $1,214,800. This beautiful loft residence has two stories of windows on three sides, with pool and skyline views from the private treetop terrace. With 2-beds, 2-baths and 1,592 feet of interior space, this city home has tons of extras, like antique Asian barns doors that slide across the master bath’s window wall for added privacy.

There was one closing in September: #W413 is a bi-level penthouse with 1-bedroom, 2-baths, schoolhouse-style arched windows and a private rooftop terrace. Listed for $939,000, the 1,142 square foot loft dwelling closed for $879,000.

Two listings were recently withdrawn from the marketplace. Unit #W301 is a 2-bed, 2-bath loft with two-story windows, spiral stairs, catwalk and Brazilian Cherry floors and was priced at $1,269,000. Unit #W301 is a 2-bed, 2-bath flat with a den, high ceilings and 1,703 square of living space. The asking price was an even million.

Located at 1600 Clarendon Boulevard, the Wooster and Mercer has 87 residences plus a large swimming pool, fitness center, front desk and concierge, a club room and even its own dog park. The complex sits along the trendy Rosslyn-Ballston Corridor—a stretch of urban enclaves, each with its own Metro station. There’s no shortage of local conveniences and attractions, with bars, restaurants, retailers, a Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods.
