It’s big, luxurious, and perfectly located in the downtown heart of Washington. CityCenterDC is one of the largest and newest mixed-use communities in the nation. Spanning 10 acres at the former site of the convention center in Mount Vernon Triangle, the upscale development includes modern condominiums, apartments, offices, hotels, restaurants, boutique retailers, and a 1.5-acre park.

There is no shortage of available condos at CityCenterDC, starting with a slew of new listings in May. The first of these is Unit #702 with a price tag of $1,495,000. The 1,340 square foot corner unit has two separate bedroom suites, bleached hardwood floors, an open glossy white gourmet kitchen, massive window walls wrapping around the sides, and an extended balcony.

Unit #506 listed in May for $850,000. The two-bedroom, two-bath apartment has a 1,033 square foot layout with wide-plank flooring and an open kitchen with appliances recessed into Moltini wood grain cabinetry. A private balcony, sleek bathrooms, walk-in closets, in-unit W/D, and parking are included.

Unit #406 is also new in May at $815,000. The 961 square foot flat has two bedrooms, two baths, and a balcony spanning the entire unit. A glossy white kitchen with panelized upscale appliances, extra-wide plank floors, built-ins in the guest bedroom, and a large primary suite, add to the appeal.

Unit #507 came to market in May with an asking price of $725,000. The one-bedroom apartment has one bath and a 724 square foot layout. The leafy courtyard views are superb, and the Foster + Partners designed kitchen is a joy to cook in. A washer and dryer is included.

Also new in May is Unit #604 with an asking price of $712,000. The one-bedroom flat has a spacious 830 square foot floorplan with 1.5 baths. The residence has over $25,000 in recent upgrades, with a lovely, coffered ceiling, electric fireplace, new quartz counters and kitchen island, and a desk cubby.

Unit #812 listed in May for the competitive price of $660,000. The one-bedroom, one-bath apartment has 635 square feet of living space. The turn-key flat has a private balcony with city views, and a gorgeous kitchen with Molteni cabinetry and panelized Bosch, Liebherr, and Miele appliances.

Still available after listing in March is Unit #609. Priced at $1,090,000, the two-bedroom, two-bath residence enjoys 1,148 square feet of living space and lovely views of an interior courtyard. The two bedroom suites are positioned at opposite ends with the living area in-between.

Also still available is Unit #1004, listed at $1,099,000. With two bedrooms, two baths and a 1,202 square foot layout, the sunny south facing apartment has floor to ceiling windows, an open space design, and an extended private balcony. A washer/dryer stack and parking are included.

Unit #516 went into Active Under Contract status in May, meaning it’s pending with contingencies. The 1,100 square foot residence with two owner suites and 2.5 baths had been listed at $990,000. Giant wraparound window walls overlook greenery and garden terraces.

Also entering A/C status in May is Unit #416. The two-bedroom apartment with 2.5 baths and 1,142 square feet of living space listed in April for $1,079,900. The renovated residence has white oak flooring, custom wall treatments, and leafy views.

Also still pending is Unit #402. The 1,340 square foot residence with two bedrooms and two baths, had been listed at $1,335,000 before going under contract. Giant windows allow natural light to fill the open living, dining, and cooking area. There’s also a large private balcony.

There was one closing in May. Unit #408 sold for $800,000 after listing for $815,000. The two-bedroom apartment has two baths and 937 square feet of living space. Attractive wood floors, huge windows, and an extended balcony, all lend to the appeal.

Those living at the Residences at CityCenterDC enjoy a wide array of amenities. There’s a staffed front desk with concierge and porters, a state-of-the-art fitness center, yoga studio, party rooms, an executive business center, and a bar lounge. A spectacular roof deck features a serene water feature.
