CityCenterDC is one of the newest, largest and most luxurious full-service communities in Washington, DC. The “live, work and play” bubble spans more than five downtown blocks in the popular Mount Vernon Triangle, with condos, apartments, offices, hotels, shops, restaurants and a 1.5-acre park. The condominium component, referred to as the Residences at CityCenter, occupies two towers. There’s tons of amenities, with floorplans exuding a very clean and contemporary style.

New to the market in September is Unit #510. With an asking price of $1,199,000, the two-bedroom, two-bath apartment has a 1,176 square foot layout with an open main living area and huge sliders that open out to a private balcony overlooking the Gallery Place neighborhood. Northern White Oak floors and a contemporary kitchen with stainless steel Bosch appliances are part of the package, along with such extras as high-tech stereo equipment throughout the residence. Both bedrooms have custom wall treatments.

Also new in September is Unit #1002 with two bedrooms, two baths and 1,116 square feet of living space. Listed at $1,050,000, the unique south-facing apartment has wide-plank floors and an extended wooden balcony with multiple entry points. The Foster + Partners designed kitchen with its recessed appliances has an extra-long island/breakfast bar. Against the hallway wall is a desk cubby, providing a great work-from-home option. The highest-priced current listing at CityCenterDC is Unit #715. The two-bedroom, two-bath flat with 1,584 square feet of space has an asking price of $2,945,000. The rare floorplan has been extensively upgraded by the original owners, including improvements to the kitchen. An unusually large main living area features a giant wall of windows, along with a lush multi-level 576 square foot walk-out terrace with dining areas and mature plantings. There’s also a secondary private balcony with entry points from each bedroom.

Still available is Unit #810 at $2,595,000. With two master bedroom suites, 2.5 baths and 1,389 square feet of space, this corner penthouse also features a 1,009 square foot private rooftop terrace. Massive windows, Northern White Oak floors and a stylish open kitchen with Caesarstone counters, Motleni/Dada cabinets and Thermador, Bosch and Miele premium appliances, all add to the allure. The apartment comes with two parking spaces and private storage.

Unit #710 remains active at $1,198,000. The two-bedroom, 2.5-bath apartment features giant windows, wide-plank flooring and custom upgrades throughout. Adding to the appeal is the wide-open layout, luxurious modern baths and a balcony that runs the length of the residence. Parking and additional storage is included.

Unit #404 came to market in September and is still available for $999,999. The spacious one-bedroom, 1.5-bath flat has 1,003 square feet of sunny open living space and is located on the quiet courtside of the building. A welcoming foyer with a powder room and closets leads into the main living area with its massive wall of windows, including a corner bay. The large bedroom also features a big glass bay.

Unit #513 also listed in September with one bedroom, one bath and a generous 940 square foot layout. Priced at $799,900, the apartment boasts modern finishes throughout, wide-plank floors, a giant wall of windows in the main living area, the classic City Center open gourmet kitchen and a fun glossy white desk cubby. The bedroom also has giant windows. Includes a washer/dryer stack in the closet.

With an asking price of $789,000, Unit #514 has one bedroom, one bath and 799 square feet of interior space. The front gallery leads right into a glossy white open kitchen with panelized appliances, set into one wall. Pale ultra-wide plank floors and an open living area add to a feeling of linear spaciousness. There’s also an extended wooden balcony overlooking terraced gardens.

Unit #712 offers a competitive asking price of $620,000, which is somewhat rare in this upscale community. The one-bedroom, one-bath flat has 689 square feet of interior space, with wide-plank floors and an open white kitchen with stainless steel and panelized appliances. Bonus points for a private balcony. Also included is tons of storage space, a stacked washer/dryer and parking.

Offering a new price reduction is Unit #714. The two-bedroom, two-bath residence with 1,028 square feet of space is now listed at $1,169,500, a nice cut from its original price of $1,249,500. Ultra-wide plank floors and dramatic custom wall finishes are among the features. There is also custom lighting and a large private balcony. The master bath with its giant frameless shower and mosaics, is truly impressive.

Also reduced in price is Unit #301 at $859,000, representing a $50,000 drop. With one bedroom, one bath and 922 square feet of space, this one-of-a-kind apartment has been customized by award-winning architect Ernesto Santalla. The flat boasts custom ceiling treatments, dark wood floors, a glossy white kitchen, giant windows on three sides and a bedroom suite with modern wall treatments.

Unit #803 went under contract in October. The one-bedroom, one-bath residence with 787 square feet of space had been listed at $749,000. Features include ultra-wide plank floors and a gourmet kitchen set into Molteni cabinets. A glossy white desk cubby with storage, a private balcony and an in-unit washer and dryer help complete the picture. The condo comes with one parking space.

There was one closing in October. Unit #601 sold for $840,000 after listing for $879,000. The one-bedroom, one-bath modern flat has a 922 square foot layout, with built-ins, a Foster + Partners open kitchen, white northern oak floors, tons of windows, a lovely bedroom, a modern bath, laundry room and private parking.

Unit #1003 has been withdrawn. The one-bedroom, one-bath condo with 858 square feet of living space had most recently been available for $750,000. Pale hardwood flooring runs throughout, with a Foster + Partners designed kitchen featuring Molteni cabinets and a stone island. Also included was a glossy white office nook, as well as a private balcony.

Among the many amenities for condo owners at CityCenterDC are fully-staffed front desks, concierge and porter service. There are multiple interior greenspaces including two green rooftops with gas grills and fire pits, as well as landscaped terraces at several levels. Other cool perks include party rooms, water features, a recently remodeled fitness center with yoga studio, a bar lounge and an executive business center.
