Synonymous with global luxury and full-service hospitality, The Ritz-Carlton West End combines a central hotel component with flanking condominium towers for a sublime lifestyle experience. Residents and guests enjoy a wide range of amenities, plus street level retail. As the name suggests, the mixed-use complex is in Washington’s West End neighborhood. There are also Ritz-Carlton locations in Georgetown and Chevy Chase.

There was one new listing in February. Unit #4E is offered at $1,395,000, with two bedrooms (one of which is currently configured as an office/den), 2.5 baths and over 2,000 square feet of living space. A large open layout includes a family area that segues to an adjacent open dining room, with herringbone flooring in the living areas and den, and cream carpet in the primary suite with its sitting room.

Topping the price charts is Unit #6B. Listed at $2,595,000, the 2,449 square foot residence with three bedrooms and 3.5 baths features a seven-figure remodel. Custom built-ins showcase bar areas, storage and wine coolers. Stunning wall treatments add to the modernity, along with a white-on-white kitchen with Viking, Miele and Sub-Zero stainless steel appliances. A large private terrace adds further allure.

Another elite active listing is Unit #3A, offered at $2,495,000. A grand foyer leads into the three-bedroom, 3.5-bath apartment with its 2,771 square-foot layout. The main living area has a fireplace and massive windows on two sides. Other features include an impressive modern kitchen a formal dining room, and a sunny den. There’s a private terrace as well, and two parking spaces.

Unit #5C sold in October of 2021, and returned to the market in January. Unit #8K listed in January for $1,375,000 and remains available. The two-bedroom, two-bath apartment has an open layout with 1,422 square feet of living space and huge window walls. Unit #5J has been reduced for the second time in two months, and is now available for $825,000. The one-bedroom, one-bath unit has 771 square feet of living space, along with a rare 369 sq. ft. garden patio with southern exposures. Other features include new cherry herringbone hardwood floors, a gas fireplace, huge windows, and a gourmet kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances.

After being temporarily taken off market, Unit #4M has returned with a new lower price of $809,900. The two-bedroom, two-bath residence with 1,094 square feet of living space enjoys lots of natural light from its full height windows. Brazilian cherry herringbone floors, and a walk-in gourmet kitchen with granite counters and stainless steel appliances are featured.

There was one closing in February. Unit #5G sold for $850,000 after listing for $850,000. The lovely two-bedroom, two-bath flat has Brazilian cherry herringbone floors, high ceilings, crown molding, giant windows, and an extended private balcony that is accessible from both the living room and the owners’ suite.

Unit #5B has been withdrawn. Listed at $2,495,000, the 2,449 square-foot residence has three bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and a huge open living area with blonde hardwood floors. A long formal dining room sits adjacent to the gourmet kitchen. A spacious private terrace is perfect for dining al fresco on spring and summer nights.

Residents at The Ritz-Carlton West End enjoy the white gloves treatment, including options for housekeeping, room service and even private chefs.
