The Columbia Residences have a unique story to tell. The West End condo community was known as the Columbia Hospital for Women for 136 years. Listed at $575,000, Unit #434 is now pending with contingencies. There were a number of changes during the renovation process at The Columbia as it was transitioning from its former life as a hospital. This includes two new wings, and approximately 22,000 square feet of retail space, including the above-mentioned Trader Joe’s. There’s also three furnished guest suites for visitors, a rooftop swimming pool and lounge, fitness center, billiards and club rooms, front desk and concierge.
