Luxury branding, full-service amenities and spacious floorplans are a few of things that condominium owners can come to expect at The Ritz-Carlton West End. As the name indicates, the mixed-use complex with its street-level retail is located in the West End neighborhood. There is also a Ritz-Carlton in Georgetown, as well as a brand new location in Chevy Chase.
There were multiple new listings in October, but each has already gone under contract. We’ll cover those after detailing the residences that are still available. Unit #7G came to market last month for $1.7 million. The unique two-bedroom, 3.5-bath floorplan includes a den/library that separates the living spaces from a huge owners’ suite with twin walk-in closets, and his and her baths. The second bedroom suite with its own bath and walk-in closet is on the opposite side of the apartment, ensuring privacy.
Also active since September is Unit #2C with two bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Offered at $1,299,000, the spacious 1,806 square foot residence features a formal foyer, custom built-ins and herringbone floors. The gourmet kitchen has been opened up to the adjacent formal dining room. Each of the bedrooms has a full en-suite bath. The second bedroom has full-height built-ins.
Unit #PH1F is a one-bedroom, two-bath penthouse that listed in September with a $810,000 price tag—a competitive price for a sky-high luxe apartment. With 978 square feet of living space, the bright and airy condo has a huge open living and dining space with an entire wall of floor-to-ceiling windows. The gourmet kitchen has black granite counters and stainless steel appliances. Stunning blonde hardwoods run throughout.
One of the most impressive listings at the Ritz, Unit #5B, has been reduced from $2,550,000 down to $2,495,000. The 2,449 sq. ft. residence has three bedrooms and 3.5 baths. Features include a living room framed by built-ins, blonde floors, an incredibly long formal dining room and a gourmet kitchen. A spacious private terrace is perfect for dining al fresco on summer nights.
Unit #6L is an exclusive Life At The Top offering that is now pending. Full-height built-ins bracket a glass-enclosed gas fireplace, while a private terrace is the perfect place for enjoying morning coffee or evening libations.
Unit #8D remains under contract with an anticipated closing date in the middle of December. Listed at $1,750,000, the residence has two bedrooms, a den and 2.5 baths, with 1,785 square feet of living space. Add to that, a giant open concept living/dining area, a library with a wall of built-ins, and not one, but two private balconies.
The list of apartments that came to market in October and have since received accepted offers starts with Unit #5C. The two-bedroom, 2.5-bath condo with 1,846 square feet of living space was priced at $1,649,000. A grand foyer introduces the apartment with its large and open living and dining area, an adjacent open den with built-ins, a gourmet kitchen and a lovely balcony.
On the same floor, Unit #5D listed in October for $1,395,000 and is now in Active under Contract status, meaning it’s pending with contingencies. The two-bedroom, 2.5-bath apartment with 1,785 square feet of space has herringbone floors and two private balconies—one facing west and the other facing east, with lovely courtyard floors. The bedrooms are large and the kitchen has all the gourmet bells and whistles.
Similarly, Unit #2D listed in October for $1,395,000 and is also now in Active under Contract status. The layout is very close to that of 5D, with two bedrooms, 2.5 baths and 1,760 square feet of inner space. The private outdoor spaces are somewhat different, however, with a west-facing balcony and a large east-facing wraparound terrace. Custom wall treatments are another unique factor.
Unit #PH3P came to market in September and went under contract just two days later. The spectacular tri-level penthouse has two bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a third floor media room with built-ins, and huge sliders leading out to a large private roof terrace that offers scintillating skyline views.
