The Columbia Hospital for Women and Lying-in Asylum was first opened in 1866 at the site of the former Hill Mansion in Thomas Circle. A loft den, open gourmet kitchen, high ceilings, sliding bedroom door, a marble bath and a balcony add to the appeal.
